"Béton" is french for "concrete" which is one of my favorite materials. My jewellery has always been influenced by Brutalism's architectural style which is characterized by its use of raw concrete. This grey, minimalist soap pays homage to that aesthetic: pure, solid, and unembellished.
This bar is similar to Noirceur with it's northern woodsy scent but warmer because of clove essential oil. The fragrance is stronger and it is also exfoliating as opposed to Noirceur. This is one of my favorite essential oils blends! It's rich, dark and moody. I add a bit of activated charcoal as a natural colourant to achieve the concrete grey look.
Ingredients:
-Coconut oil, Sunflower oil, Shea butter, Kokum butter, Avocado oil and Castor oil.
-Activated Charcoal, Kaolin clay and Pumice.
-Essential oils: Fir Balsam, Pine, Cedarwood and Clove.
-Each bar approx. 115 grams
Notes:
-Scented with natural essential oils, no synthetic fragrance
-Let soap dry between uses so it will last longer
-Best used within a year of purchase
-Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
