The safety pin has been an integral part of punk rock fashion since the 70s punk movement and continues to be a statement piece for DIY culture, rebellion and the freedom to look and be however the hell you want.
I made this safety pin by hand back in 2007 or 2008, it is not molded from a real one.
This is a follow up to the Couture safety pin necklace I've been making for a couple of years.
The thick anchor chain is sterling silver and the length of the necklace is adjustable from 16" to 19" long.
